I’m an award-winning Edinburgh-based artist and printmaker whose work is rooted in drawing, colour, craft and the natural world. My practice moves between printmaking, painting and the decorative arts, from works on paper and hand-printed textiles to painted objects, interiors and large-scale architectural spaces. At the heart of my work is a commitment to making by hand, bringing together expressive drawing, traditional craft processes, pattern and ornament to create distinctive, richly crafted work.

About My Practice
Flora and fauna sit at the heart of my work, from birds and animals captured through loose, lively drawing to richly layered botanical forms. My imagery moves between works on paper, hand-painted objects, textiles and interiors, allowing the same visual language to travel across different materials and scales.

My Story
My practice has evolved naturally between printmaking, decorative art and interiors, allowing drawing and colour to move from paper onto walls, textiles, objects and architectural spaces. This has included recreating historic wallpaper designs at Kelburn Castle, producing hand-printed work for Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott, and creating bespoke decorative work for private and commercial interiors.
I began my formal art education at Leith School of Art before continuing my studies in Printed Textiles at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with First Class Honours and later completing an MFA in Design and Applied Arts with Distinction. My final collection of hand screen-printed wallpapers and fabrics received the Deutsche Bank Award for Creative Enterprise, which funded the establishment of my first dedicated print studio.
