Hi, I’m Lynsey.
I’m an award-winning Edinburgh-based artist and printmaker whose work is rooted in drawing, colour and the natural world. Working across print, paint and decorative surfaces, my practice brings together expressive mark making with a love of pattern, ornament and the handmade.
About My Practice
Flora and fauna sit at the heart of my work, from birds and animals captured through loose, lively drawing to richly layered botanical forms. My imagery moves between works on paper, hand-painted objects, textiles and interiors, allowing the same visual language to travel across different materials and scales.
Print Heritage
Printing runs through generations of my family, giving ink, paper, presses and the handmade a particularly deep connection to my practice.
