Middleton Hall

This historic hall built in 1710 and situated just out side of Edinburgh was purchased by the chairman of the Scottish paint manufacturer Craig & Rose.  The chairman approached the studio and asked us to design and create an original bespoke wallpaper for his dining room.  He wanted something traditionally Scottish using burgundy colours to create an atmosphere of opulence and grandeur.  We set about drawing and sketching traditionall Scottish animals and plants to create a wallpaper to compliment the room. The end results are the Capercaillie & Thistle Damask wallpaper designs.
